About Our Leadership
Meet James Cantwell, Founder of The Cantwell Advisory.
The Cantwell Advisory was established in 2019 by James Cantwell, a veteran of the investment management industry with 25 years of experience. James has worked for several Asset Managers, Banks, and Funds, including GAMCO Asset Management, AST Trust Company (now Broadridge), and Gabelli Funds. He also ran the consulting organization for North America at SS&C Advent, where he was responsible for implementing CRM, Trading, Portfolio Accounting, Performance Reporting, Billing, and other solutions for mid to large investment management firms and family offices.
Drawing from his extensive experience working with hundreds of RIA’s, family offices, funds, and vendors, James guides TCA clients on effectively utilizing their resources to reduce costs, increase scalability, and improve the client experience.
